The rules in one minute
Brushtails living in a building may be trapped by the owner or occupier, a building manager or a licensed wildlife controller, under DEECA conditions. A trapped possum must be released on the same property, within 50 metres, after sunset on the day it was caught. Ringtails cannot be trapped without a permit.
